When Sawyer realized that there were women who unabashedly wanted to be dominated and controlled, and there was a world that embraced such things as domination and submission - everything seemed to fall into place. Tired of pretending to be someone he wasn't and suppressing his dominant tendencies, he takes the leap into the world of BDSM under the guidance of his friend and mentor, never to look back.

But the dark past and his heinous actions are hard to forget and even more difficult to leave behind. Will he be able to move forward and become the man he yearns to be?

This is Sawyer's journey into becoming Dominant, Master, Sir.

My Review

I love a story told from the guys POV. But more importantly it has to be done right and sound like a guy and not a guy written by a girl. This is one of those winners. In this book, we get the alpha male that is Sawyer. His reluctance into the D/s world is intriguing. You’d think an alpha guy would have it easy. But he doesn’t.
I also love that this book made me question who Sawyer would choose. This was the reverse of the typically love triangle. And although I chose differently, I wasn’t at all unhappy with his choice.
And damn if this story doesn’t have its scorching hot moments. All I can say is Isa and Sawyer. And yeah, you’ll just have to read to find out.
This book encompasses all that I love about this author and can’t wait for more.

Book Summary

***** Mature Content, Sexual Situations, Adult Situations, Strong Language *****

She found him on a snowy night. He sparked her desires and inflamed her dreams.

Independent and feisty, Shea Madison has a tussle on her hands. Living in and loving her quiet little corner of Montana, she’s fiercely determined to fight a real estate developer trying to turn her quaint little mountain town into a touristy ski resort. So, when an outsider shows up to study the effects on the area, she instantly attempts to sway his impression… even if it means a little harmless flirting with the enticing visitor.

Rhys Weland’s charade has one purpose—to bring the locals around to the idea of the resort, primarily the ringleader, Ms. Shea Madison. Embroiled in his deception, he’s stunned by the feelings she draws from deep inside him. Her integrity and sincerity quickly have him second-guessing his twisted morals. Her spirit arouses his soul. Her sensuality steals his breath.

In the dark of the night, in the warmth of the fire, the passion smoldering between them combusts. But just when it all seems to make sense, one small stubborn mistake shreds the fragile bond between them. Will an impetuous act reignite their flame, or will their love vanish like sparks in the air?

My Review

I loved this author’s first book Little Conversations. So, I couldn’t’ wait to get my hands on this second one. Although the books are completely different, this author has a way with mountain men that make me Swoon.
This book is a standalone, so you don’t have to worry about any cliffies. I won’t give the story away except to say that all you feel good story lovers this one’s for you. While this isn’t all paradise and flowers, this book certainly deals with one man and one woman.  Their struggles against a pull they feel for one another and the secrets one of them hides, is the ride you get on when you open this book.
And let’s not forget the hotness that comes from this author. *swoon*
Pick this book up, I have a feeling you won’t be disappointed.
My book boyfriend is Rhys.

Wild (Wild #1) by Adriane Leigh

Wild  (Wild #1) by Adriane Leigh

This is an adult romance/erotica novel (Rated NC-17)

 ♥♥♥♥♥
(Five Wild Hearts)

Book Summary

An independent woman, a controlling man, and one wild one-night stand…

Kat Kennedy moved to the rugged coast of Maine to start a new life, but encountered much more than she bargained for in dark, dangerous, and seductive Lane Wild.

Desire and temptation smolder before she succumbs to her darkest fantasies with the captivating stranger. She doesn't expect to see him again after an explosive one-night stand leaves her breathless and craving more, but just like lightning in the darkness, he shows up in her life at the most unpredictable moments.

A sensual game of cat and mouse ensues before the attraction between them reaches a fever pitch—the magnetism combustible, the sexual tension nearly unbearable—and Kat finally abandons inhibition and explores the cunning, selfish, and sexual side of a world she's never known.

They have the perfect non-relationship—passion-fueled nights with no strings attached—until life gets real and the past and present collide in a dangerous storm of lust and obsession.

 My Review

How would I describe this book in one sentence? Two people not interested in anything permanent find it impossible to tug against the magnetic force of one Wild night together.

That about sums it all. No, really, this book was so hot, I found it hard to hold my ipad to read it. Well, maybe that’s because I kept putting it down and attacking my guy. Poor thing, NOT.

What I loved most about it were the questions that kept creeping up and making hard to put it down without answers. While I figured some out early, others I didn’t. And overall, I kept guessing until the end.

If you haven’t read this author, she’s a must if you like your book hot and spicy. She delivers every time.

My book boyfriend is Wild.
