Book Summary

It's a beautiful day for a war.

As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.

And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time.

In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear… or the end of herself.

My Review

This series has come a long way from its beginnings. And those of you Vampire Academy series lovers, give this one a try. The beginning may give you a strong feeling of that series. However, this book by the end of book two becomes and stands on its own. I only give you that warning so you don’t give up. It’s really good. And Aiden is just… heart stoppingly one of the best book boyfriends out there.
I actually prefer this series over the author’s Lux series. However, I’m a fan of both. This book continues with the journey that Alex is on and brings it to its ultimate conclusion. I must admit I was a blubbering mess by the end of the book.
The only problems I had were the damn interruptions. And if you follow me, you know I hate that as a tacit authors use to create angst. JR Ward does it to no end. And Rachel Caine does it too. I hate it. HATE IT.
The other thing was the romance in the story felt repetitive at times. Other than that, there was a lot of great action, lots of answers and resolutions, and a successful conclusion to the series. Personally, I wish it would go on.
Anyway, my book boyfriend AIDEN.
