My Review

What comes next is explosive. We learn more about Eva and the girl Carter is so hot for. We see the combustion that is Eva’s and Carter’s relationship in all its sexy dysfunction.  What’s more we get the fireworks that is passion between these two. What’s more, we want more.

As the characters continue to develop I wonder what’s going to happen next, when will the next shoe drop.  Does this book straddle the line of insta love? Yes, but for some reason it works better here than other books I’ve read. This all seems flow from the tornado that is Carter. I see him as a guy that waste no time on what he wants.

I can’t wait to see how this all plays out in the next installment. And don’t think that this book ends on a huge cliffy. I’d say this has a fairly soft landing, but leaves you wanting more.

Before we get to my book boyfriend, here is an interview with Adriane.

INTERVIEW

1. What was your inspiration for this story?
I was actually inspired by a Paul McDonald song. I was listening to it over and over and thinking about all-consuming, can't live without you, drop you to your knees kind of love. There are even a few lines from the song in one of the books if you look close enough.

2. What is your current project you are working on?
I'm in the process of editing Book 3 in the Lace Series, Rapture and Lace.

3. Will you have any more releases this year?
Rapture and Lace will be released February 8, and I am excited to announce that there will be a Book 4 in the series. Carter and Eva's story just couldn't be contained in three books.

4. What is your favorite thing about writing?
I love exploring someone else's life. I also love the research. Every detail, from the dresses Eva wears to the street she lives on, are all real. When else do you have an excuse to browse a listing for a 16 million dollar home on Beacon Street? (Carter's townhouse)

5. What is the one thing you want people to know about you?
I've wanted to write for a long time; my dream was to write a book that touched people on an emotional level like I've been touched by books. I had a deep-seeded fear of putting myself out there for criticism, but one day I just did it. I sat down, I didn't think, I just wrote. It's quite liberating to shed the fear and just do it.

  1. The series that I've been following for a while is Lora Leigh's breed series. But I'm always looking for a new series to follow.
