Book Summary

Here we go again …

Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can’t get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities — until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I’m still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead.

As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast — otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins — and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there …

My Review

To say the last full book ended on a cliffy is an understatement. It wasn’t life or death, but still that hanging ending sentence haunted me.

So I eagerly waited for what would come next. And of course, trouble follows Gwen.  What I was happy about was that she wasn’t overly brooding, and took care of business.

But we also got the confrontation that we needed in order to ease our minds. There were parts of the story that were predictable. But again, I had to remember that this series wasn’t written geared towards me. Still, I enjoyed the story no matter that.

This author continues to deliver well written stories that keep me engaged and entertained. I look forward to the next book Jennifer Estep to deliver as it is guaranteed to be fantastic.
My book boyfriend is Logan.
