Book Summary

The final test is here. The war is no longer a worry of tomorrow, but a reality of today. Turning back is no longer an option. Maybe it never was. It is time for Alexa Montgomery to look fate in the eyes. Death waits there for certain. The only question is... for who?

My Review

Boy, writing this review hurts my heart. This was a really good series. I was blown away by the first book and the imagination and exceptional writing continued throughout the series. I wasn’t a big fan of the change of POV and at first, in this one, I wasn’t either. But as the story developed, I couldn’t help but appreciate seeing the story from all angles.

I can’t say that I loved the end or the ending of the series, but I can say that it was totally true to the story. It made sense so that I couldn’t balk or complain about it. All is right in the world because I’ve personally erased those last few chapters so that I can live on blissfully in the greatness that was.

It’s really hard to give a spoil free review on this one. And I honestly believe that you should enjoy all that is the series on your own without help from me coloring the events that unfold. Just know that this story is action packed with a romantic twist.

Speaking of twist, I also can’t say was happy with Tommy and a certain someone. But being that things turned out the way they did in the last book, I guess this was the best option.

If you haven’t read this series, check out Blood Warrior and be drawn into a world that’s not your own.

My book boyfriend Kayden.

    1. Yes, this is a good series. More paranormal focus with romance instead of the other way around. Great action with hot guys, sigh.
