My Review
Well, I can’t say I’m in love with this series. It has
frustrated me at times. However, this installment restored my faith. It wasn't a
slam dunk but it was enough to get me reading this series again.
The cast of characters in this series is great. I love them
all and even love to hate others. In this installment, our base crew gets a
pass out of town with a babysitter. As you can imagine they find trouble.
Some of the things that happened irked me but I had to
remember that these are new adults that haven’t had the experience I've had and
some had never been out of Morganville. So it was easier to swallow some of the
things they did. I like that at times it wasn’t predictable.
But I had to hand it to one guy. Oliver. I just can’t figure
him out. He’s multifaceted.
Audio Review
Cynthia Holloway does a good job with this series. I actual
have paired her voices with these characters. So when she reads another book by
another author, I’m always brought back to Morganville. It’s not a bad thing.
Anyway, my book boyfriend is Oliver.
