Tempting the Best Man by J.Lynn

Tempting the Best Man ~ J. Lynn

A adult contemporary romance novella (Rated NC-17 for the sexiness of it all)

4.5 out of 5 stars

Book Summary

Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother's best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can't stop bickering.

Forced together for her brother's wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they're forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of "accidents" as the family tries to prove their "spark" can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don't strangle each other first…

My Review

I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading this authors great young adult series. You never know when the cross over happens. But let's just say, I was not disappointed.

It’s hard sometimes for a story to really shine through in novella form. Some authors are great full novel storytellers but can cut it in short form. J.Lynn doesn’t have a problem here. I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything.

This story was a quick bite to satisfy my short term reading needs and still get the full bodied flavor, lol. Maddie was a feisty and funny girl. Chase the dashing and hot misguided guy.

My only hope is that J.Lynn will give us more bites with each of the other brothers. If I had to pick one, I think Chad would be my guy. So here is hoping to more Gamble brothers.

So my book boyfriend has to be Chase. This is his story.
