This is a young adult paranormal romance novel (Rated R)
 ♥♥♥♥
(Four Lightning Hearts)
Book Summary
No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.
My Review
Jennifer Armentrout (JLA) is an imaginative writer. She knows how to write the swoon worthy guys that get your heart pumping. I was attracted to the series at first because it reminded me of Roswell. But this story certainly has its own legs and only has a bare glance of a reminder of that old tv series.
What’s great about this story is character growth. I think for me, Daemon has had the most change. He isn’t the asshole we met in book one, thank god. There is a whole side to him that we’ve come to meet as this story unfolds.
I was really excited in the relationship growth too, but I won’t go there, lol.
As far as the story, the book didn’t have as much action as in previous books. There was a lot of talking and planning. And that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. JLA has a way of filling pages that doesn’t leave you bored.
And wow, what a cliffy ending. It was the kind I least expected. I thought something totally different and I applaud her for that. I love to be surprised.
My book boyfriend Daemon. (as he’s already been established, no need to change it)
