Book Summary

It's been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?

In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and dystopian elements to create a captivating love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.

My Review
The way the last book ended, I could do nothing but pick up this book and start it right away. I just had to know how it ended.
Well, let’s just say, I was pleasantly surprised at how it began only to be dismayed later. Talk about a roller coaster ride. Nothing is perfect in this world. However, the book wasn’t a total downer as in depressing as much of the dystopian community of novels are.
There is a place in the story though were choice made really pissed me off.  And it stuck with me. I can appreciate the realism in the story, but I was wounded by the actions. Thus, I took a half a heart off for it. I’m not sure I’m yet recovered, lol.
Still amazing story telling. I look forward to the next book in the series and whatever this author writes in the future.
My book boyfriend Perry.

  2. I only read the first sentence of your review, because I won Under The Never Sky, but haven't read it yet. I did see where it might say you were disappointed, but I tried to look away real quick. It sounds like you liked the first one and were eager to pick up the second, so maybe I won't put it at the top of my TBR. lol I stopped by because A. M. mentioned you in her acknowledgments in Edge of Disaster. Any friend of hers, I had to check out. I am now following you and look forward to reading more of your reviews.
