Book Summary
In the small college town of Morganville, vampires and humans lived in (relative) peace—until all the rules got rewritten when the evil vampire Bishop arrived, looking for the lost book of vampire secrets. He’s kept a death grip on the town ever since. Now an underground resistance is brewing, and in order to contain it, Bishop must go to even greater lengths.
He vows to obliterate the town and all its inhabitants—the living and the undead. Claire Danvers and her friends are the only ones who stand in his way. But even if they defeat Bishop, will the vampires ever be content to go back to the old rules, after having such a taste of power?

My Review
I won’t lie. I’m not in love with this series. It’s certainly creative and has great characters, but I don’t jump when a new book is released.
A lot of old storylines are wrapped up in this one and author is bold in some of the actions of her characters. We say goodbye to others and I’m not so sure I’m happy about that.
I’m not in love with the computer chick and parts of me say that took the storyline in places it shouldn’t have gone.
Overall, it’s a decent series that others love and you might too. So read it. It’s not bad at all. It’s entertaining.
My book boyfriend for purposes of this review is Shane. But honestly, I would have gone with Sam and Myrnin.
