Book Summary

Sexy, powerful, and immortal, Limos is on a crash course with destiny. She’s been marked as Satan’s bride and her jealous fiancĂ© wants her all to himself. The only way this Horseman can keep herself—and everyone else—safe is to keep her distance. But not even Limos can save herself from the secrets she’s kept . . . or resist the seductive allure of one very brave human.

Arik Wagner knows the saying “love hurts” better than most, yet he never thought stealing a kiss from Limos would land him in Hell. Literally. It takes all his military training to survive the demon torture, but once he’s topside, Arik realizes that the agony has just begun. With the Apocalypse looming and Satan demanding his bride, will Arik and Limos surrender to the desire smoldering between them? Or will giving in to their passion unleash hell on earth.

My Review

I love this author, but this wasn’t her shinny moment. I still have faith in her writing even though this book was an epic fail. This story was a little too cheesy, a lot too predictable, and overall felt forced. The last 10% of the book kind of explained away all the other but a little too late.

The Than story line was the biggest predictability. SPOILERS. I mean, he’s over 5000 years old, yet some woman the Agi (sorry I listened so not sure on spelling) picks is going to be Than’s undoing? Come on. All kinds of women over the years and this one makes him slip up. And, no I didn’t predict how they were going to “you know”. That part was just awful. There wasn’t anything good about that storyline and I was left disgusted. Then a child, ugh. It’s not good for a girl to get raped and the same can be said the other way around. If they get together in the third book, I’m going to hate it. END OF SPOILERS.

Audio Review
I can’t say I loved Hillary Huber’s narration on this book. It’s was certainly not bad. Some of the voices sounded the same and it didn’t help that the story wasn’t goo.

Overall, it was a dud for me. I wouldn’t recommend.

My book boyfriend is Arik. (for the life of me I don’t remember many details of his look. So I’m going off of feelings/instinct)
