Book Summary

My Review

I was given the wonderful opportunity to read an ARC of ONYX. What can I say, I loved it.

Characters – Katy is going through a lot in the story and JLA doesn’t hold back when it comes to storyline. A lot is going on which makes this a fast pace read. Katy will grow in this story as she has to deal with the aftermath of the events of Obsidian. There is also a new guy in town which throws a monkey wrench into everything. Daemon. I found him to be a jerk in Obsidian. In fact, I had become team Dawson after reading Shadows. But in Onyx, we really see a different side of Daemon which made me love him.

Storyline – What can you expect with a JLA novel. Everything is fast pace and there is never a dull moment. I soaked this story up through a straw like a big gulp. And boy did I have brain freeze. The twists in this story are vast and I had whiplash trying to keep up in a good way. Expect the unexpected. I didn’t want it to end. JLA’s stories are the kinds you want to devour.

I can’t possibly say more without given spoilers away and you need to have the full experience.

I really love this book. It was every bit amazing. So if you haven’t read this or any of the books in the Lux series, what are you waiting for.
