Holiday Affair by Annie Seaton
This is an adult contemporary romance novel (Rated NC-17)
(Four Sun filled Hearts)
At first, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen in this story as I don’t read blurbs most of the time because a lot of them give too much of the story away. So imagine my surprise as events started to unfold. I wanted to roll my eyes at the string of one and a million events that led to how this story was set up. However, I was transfixed in wondering how it was all going to play out.
This book almost crossed one of my taboos, but thankful it was a near miss. There are just certain moral codes, I can’t cross while reading. This one treaded on the line, but didn’t cross it. It deals with brothers and I’ll leave it at that. Thankfully, it wasn’t a close call as much as it almost felt like.
Okay, no more talking in codes. I did enjoy this book overall. It was a light read with a good mix of angst, drama, romance, and a really hot guy to keep me reading in one setting. Go out and get it ladies.
My book boyfriend.... After my quick interview.
